ZBA say No 3 to 2 on Stop and shops proposal to put monster turbine.

People won over corporate greed last as Stop  &. Shop lost its bid to install  its proposed 275 high industrial wind turbine at Myles Standish Plaza. Over 20,000 postcards were sent to citizens making them aware of this devastating proposal to the neighborhood along with the web site StoptheTurbine.com. Three members of the ZBA Board, properly acknowledged that it was just too close to  residential neighborhoods under current by law requirements, that need to improved by Town Meeting this fall.
