Plymouth's annual Thanksgiving Parade will be held Saturday, Nov. 17, beginning at 11 a.m.
The annual Thanksgiving Parade will be held Saturday Nov. 17. The parade will form on Court Street between Plimoth Plaza and Robbins Road and step off at approximately 11 a.m. The parade will proceed with no stops down Court Street, to Main Street, and Main Street Extension, then to Water Street where it will end at the bottom of Cole’s Hill. There will be early morning festivities prior to the parade as well as following the parade. For this reason Water Street will be closed between Brewster and Union Streets. Water St. will be closed at these locations at 8 a.m. and remain closed until 4 p.m. unless needs or conditions dictate otherwise. The annual Thanksgiving parade is the biggest part of the three-day America's Hometown Thanksgiving Celebration. The parade begins at 10:30 a.m. at the corner of Court and Nelson streets and heads south on Court Street, turning left onto Water Street and ending in front of Cole's Hill. Parade organizers recommend getting downtown early for a good spot to watch the parade. Whether you prefer standing on Court or Main Street or sitting on Cole's Hill behind the grandstand, there are plenty of places to watch. Where is your favorite place to watch the parade?
