Plymouth South Male Athlete of the Week: The Offensive Line

The G&G/PSHS Male Athlete of the Week is the entire offensive line for the Football Team.

Seniors Derek Anderson, Connor Rossi, Dillan Halpin and Ryan Madden, along with juniors Shaun Duncombe and Brendan Harty, are Plymouth South's male athletes of the week. The dominating efforts of this group of young men were key in the 49-14 win for the Panthers over rival Sandwich High School. During the game South’s offense rushed for more than 400 yards which paved the way for seven rushing touchdowns. The score of 49-14 was largely due to the work by these young men. Their blocking was integral for the success of the entire team. In addition, two timely interceptions by Anderson directly impacted the outcome for the Panthers.

Why is South Better than North? Why is North Better than South? [Poll]

The North-South Thanksgiving football game generates heated rivalry.

Thanksgiving and football go together like turkey and cranberry sauce, they complement each other and prepare you to dig into some of those pies. It seems that this year's North/South (or South/North if you prefer) football game is even more appetite whetting than usual. As North prepares to move into a new building, those sports redrawing the cross-town lines and causing families to switch schools and allegiences. So the question remains: What makes South High School better than North? And...so you North kids don't get offended: What makes North High School better than South?
