The Race Begins: Candidates for Plymouth Selectman Kickoff Campaigns

Selectmen Hear Questions on Entergy's Plans for Used Fuel Storage

Plymouth landowner Meg Sheehan questioned Entergy's plans to begin construction on dry cask storage tanks in the spring.

At Tuesday's Selectmen's meeting, Cambridge resident and Plymouth landowner Meg Sheehan questioned Entergy's plans to begin construction on dry cask storage tanks in the spring. Sheehan, a lawyer for environmental lawfirm EcoLaw, had voiced the same question at last week's Nuclear Matters Committee meeting and wants the board to check the town's zoning bylaws. According to WATD, the Selectmen were scheduled to discuss the town's PILOT agreement with Entergy during an executive session.
