Police canine and helicopter units were called to the Bartlett Road area Wednesday after an incident at the Plymouth County Courthouse. The Manomet Current reports: According to Capt. John Rogers, a probation officer at the Plymouth County Courthouse became suspicious of two men there for their drug tests. Upon searching their car, he found a loaded gun. One of them fled towards Manomet. He was yet to be found. The second man, Thomas Major III, 19, of Beach Street, was caught. He was charged with carrying a firearm without a license and receiving a firearm with a defaced number.
