It's a good day for pancake lovers. IHOP today is celebrating the annual acknowledgment of National Pancake Day, and anyone interesting in taking part can savor the sweetness of free flapjacks. Customers who visit the Plymouth IHOP until 10 p.m. today, Feb. 5, can enjoy a free short stack of Buttermilk pancakes in exchange for leaving a donation to Boston Children's Hospital or another local charity. The day began in 2006, and since then IHOP has raised more than $10 million to support various charities in the communities in which it operates.
