The family of a Plymouth woman injured in a car crash are hosting a benefit and searching for her rescuers.

1. Amy Stanley's family hopes to honor the six people they believe helped free her from her seat as flames erupted from her car in Rockland, Oct. 22. The family has organized a benefit to recognize her rescuers and raise money to help pay Stanley's continued medical expenses. The benefit will be held at 5 p.m. Jan. 19 at Plymouth VFW Post 1822. Family of Plymouth Woman Pulled From Burning Car Searching for Rescuers

The family of a Plymouth woman pulled from a burning car on Route 3 in October is hoping to honor the six people who rescued her.

The family of a Plymouth woman who was pulled from a burning car on Route 3 in October is trying to identify the passersby who saved her life. Amy Stanley's family hopes to honor the six people they believe helped free her from her seat as flames erupted from her car in Rockland, Oct. 22. The family has organized a benefit to recognize her rescuers and raise money to help pay Stanley's continued medical expenses, according to WCVB Channel 5.  Stanley, the widow of an Army specialist killed in Iraq in 2006, was able to return home the Friday before Christmas, but is still receiving physical therapy, her family said. Boston Militatry Luncheon to Benefit Nathan Hale Foundation

Heidrea For Heroes is proud to sponsor a Military Benefit Luncheon Jan. 27, 2013 at the Seaport Hotel in Boston from noon to 4 p.m. Heidrea For Heroes, Inc., a non-profit 501(c)(3) public charity, is providing this event to support The Nathan Hale Foundation and its Veterans Outreach Centers. The event is hosted by Billy Costa, host of NECN’s TV Diner and the Co-Host of KISS 108’s Matty in the Morning radio show. Billy will be auctioning off a chance to be the “Diner For The Day” and/or the chance to “Cook With Costa” – both of these events are featured on NECN TV.
