Where was the Great and General Court on this? Took a "NO ACTION VOTE" without roll-callRead More so fingers couldn't be pointed. MAJORITY are Democrats, ehough for me! Then we have that Oxmorn of a group: ACLU! Nothing from them! To think that a Judge would make a Medical Choice favoring one hospital over another without a independent medical review proves that Judicial Activism rains in MA and that Harvard University trumps all in Massachusetts! Today we have Harvard Professor and MAUS Sen. Warren speaking about OUTRAGEOUS interest charged on school loans while SAYING NOTHING ABOUT THE TAX FREE UNIVERSITIES TUITION!

"Justina's Law." We can understand why Professor Warren wasn't a co-signer but the ACLURead More and the rest of the Massachusetts delegation!? On June 26, Rep. Michelle Bachmann (R-MN) introduced House Resolution 4989, nicknamed "Justina's Law." The bipartisan bill co-sponsored by Reps. Karen Bass (D-CA), Tom Marino (R-PA), and Jim McDermott (D-WA) seeks to prohibit federal tax dollars from being used for medical and psychological experimentation on wards of any state. "Justina's Law" is a federal legislative response to the kidnapping, imprisonment, and forced psychological treatments of Connecticut teenager Justina Pelletier. The "behavior modification" she was forced to endure at the hands of Boston Children's Hospital and the state of Massachusetts for more than a year led to a serious decline in her health and wellbeing.

This made morning radio too...to set the record straight, this "gas" (hydrogen sulfide) isRead More produced in microscopic amounts inside of cells after a precursor drug is used on the cells. For the sake of the argument, let's put aside all the health risks of second hand smoke. I am aRead More non-smoking adult who will tolerate a smoker's weakness if I must. New Bedford has a CSO system . Combined Sewage Overflow . The water in the streets may not be justRead More rain water and there should be some caution with shellfish after a storm like this. Combined flow in excess of the interceptor capacity is discharged to receiving waters by the regulators through CSO outlets. The City presently has 35 permitted CSOs, most of which activate during rain events. (Three additional outlets have been eliminated through separation or abandonment). Thank you Charlene for posting, there are also higher instances of pets drowning during this weekendRead More as well. Between the heat, fireworks, toxic substance ingestion, and drowning, it is best to leave dogs in a safe area at home in the A/C preferably in a crate with access to a water bottle. Vermont Naturals makes a great product called "Calming Treats", it is available at PetLife. Also soft music or a TV running in the background can also ease anxiety. If you need additional help, please consult your veterinarian. I have never had luck with Thundershirts for our dogs in rescue, but the T-Touch wrap seems to work much better. You can Google for more information.
