The newly renovated Nelson Memorial Park is a popular destination for many Plymouth residents and visitors. Families with children will enjoy the playground and picnic area. There is also a new "splash pad" area where kids can cool off on hot summer days. Other features include a new small boat ramp and a bike path that follows the harbor to Hedge Road in North Plymouth. Many visitors enjoy stopping by for the spectacular ocean view. A new stormwater management system is incorporated in the beautiful landscaping of the park. A portion of this land was given in memory of the Nelson family.

I went with my family to this beach and the water was perfect! Can you swim in it, yes you can andRead More it is great water. Go over to splash pad after the beach to get the sand off or head over to the playground get even more sandy and then go on splash pad. It is free to park but make sure you get there early or late in afternoon for no problem parking, otherwise you may circle the lot without a spot. A great free place to take the kids for the day :)
