Your Guide: Plymouth Barktoberfest and World Record Attempt

Plymouth Barktoberfest will be held Saturday, Oct. 5, at Nelson Street Park.

Plymouth Barktoberfest, which will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., will feature entertainment, dog competitions and a world record dog walking attempt.

Liam Murphy, the owner of Canine Fitness and star of the Wicked Pissa Dog Show, will attempt to qualify for the Guinness Book of World Records by walking 36 dogs at one time. Murphy will walk in a straight line for a half-mile along the Nelson Park bike path.

Aside from the record attempts, local pooches can compete in events like cutest dog, loudest bark, best costume and a fastest tail wag face-off
