America's Hometown Celebrates Thanksgiving

A full slate of events are planned to mark Thanksgiving, Nov. 22-24.

Plymouth is the birthplace of Thanksgiving and the Annual America’s Hometown Thanksgiving Celebration recognizes that fact with three days of activities, Nov. 22-24.

The festivities will begin Friday night with a concert at Plymouth Memorial Hall. The Patriotic Concert, which will run from 7 to 10 p.m., will include performances by Rob Surette, Letters from Home and The Edwards Twins.

On Saturday, the Opening Ceremonies will take place at Pilgrim Memorial Park at 10:30 a.m. The Thankgiving Parade will travel down Main Street, beginning at 11 a.m.

Various activities are scheduled along the waterfront on Saturday and Sunday including the Hannaford Supermarkets New England Food Festival, Children’s Learning Pavilion, Wampanoag Educational Pavilion and more.
