"It has been a Magical ride with '12' Special 9 year olds that deserve this so much," Brini wrote on Facebook. "They earned the right to play in the Championship game tonight (5pm & 8pm) as they have fought & clawed their way through the losers bracket by sending 4 States home packing in pressure filled elimination games. Though they know they still have a job to do, they should also know that they are CHAMPIONS no matter what the outcome of tonight's game."

This is not the first time a Plymouth team in the 9U Division has advanced to the Cal Ripken New England Regionals as they went to the Final Four in 2011 giving Plymouth NE Regional representation twice in the last three years.
