Jordan Hospital and Plymouth Pilgrims Paint the Park Pink

More than two hundred people attended the “Paint the Park Pink event” Thursday, July 18, at Forges Field in Plymouth. 

The Breast Center and the Plymouth Pilgrims baseball team partnered to host a night of celebration and education in an effort to raise awareness of breast cancer and to celebrate breast cancer survivors.  

Activities included Breast cancer survivors walking the bases with pink balloons that they released into the sky at home plate as well as a fun-filled evening of baseball and camaraderie.

Jordan Hospital Cancer Services physicians, Dr. Lisa Tito, Dr. Hannah Yamin, and Dr. Debra White took turns coaching the Pilgrims at first base.  Breast Center and Cancer Center staff were also in attendance providing education and information to the crowd.
