Plymouth South Social Studies Teacher Honored

The Massachusetts Council for the Social Studies has awarded Walt Fust, a social studies teacher at Plymouth South High School, The William Spratt
Award for Excellence in Teaching Secondary Social Studies.

This award is presented to a secondary teacher who has demonstrated exceptional ability in the social studies to incorporate innovative
curriculum, use effective instructional strategies and foster the development of democratic beliefs and values needed for active, informed
citizen participation. The award will be presented at the Northeast Regional Conference for the Social Studies in early April.
