More than 200 students, parents, and residents attended the 18th annual  Martin Luther King Jr. Prayer Breakfast Monday.

The breakfast is sponsored each year on Martin Luther King Jr. Day by the Plymouth No Place for Hate Committee and the Plymouth area Interfaith Clergy Association.

The theme of the event was the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the "I have a dream speech" given in Washington DC by Rev. King in 1963. Cary Barnes, a former Plymothian and an actor in New York City, performed the speech as well as others by MLK.
