Framed by Patch: School Concert Packs Memorial Hall

The sounds of Americana fill Memorial Hall as the best of Plymouth's student musicians performed at the third Annual All Town Music Festival.

Memorial Hall was filled with the sounds of Americana as the best of Plymouth's student musicians performed at the third Annual All Town Music Festival.

This year featured a change for the festival, students who performed in the festival went through an auditions process. Starting in September, music students had the chance to perform and gain a spot in the show. During the past few weeks, the students have been practicing hard for their concert performance under the careful eyes of guest conductors who would be leading them through their performances.

The evening featured many classic songs from the American songbook, as well as band pieces ranging from Aaron Copeland to John Philip Sousa. The patriotic theme was an appropriate send off for Plymouth's high school band and chorus, which will be heading to Washington D.C. for a competition next month.
