Victim Identified in Fatal Chemical Incident at Manomet Elementary School

Authorities said school custodian Chester Flattery, 53, was killed Monday.

Officials on Monday identified the victim of a fatal chemical incident at Manomet Elementary School.

Authorities said school custodian Chester Flattery, 53, was killed, according to WHDH/7News.

A witness said the incident involved carbon monoxide.

CBS Boston reported nine first responders and another school employee were hospitalized and treated for eye and throat irritation.

The State Fire Marshal was investigating the incident.
