Plymouth Man Killed in Monday Morning Crash on Route 495
A 50-year-old Plymouth man is dead after his Jeep Grand Cherokee rolled over on Route 495 in Raynham Monday morning.
Plymouth resident Scott Pizzi, 50, was killed Monday morning in a one-car crash on Route 495 in Raynham, according to Massachusetts State Police.
Pizzi was driving a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee northbound at about 7:50 a.m. when the Jeep veered off the road into the grass shoulder, striking a steel sign support, struck the guardrail, then rolled over before coming to rest in the right travel lane. State troopers assigned to the Middleborough barracks responded, and Pizzi was taken to Cape Cod Hospital by ambulance, where he was pronounced dead.
