Plymouth Bank Robber May Have Struck Again

Police believe that the same man who robbed a Sovereign Bank in Cedarville Jan. 29 also robbed a bank in Kingston Monday, Feb. 4.

According to WATD, around 10:30 a.m. Eastern Bank on Main Street in Kingston was robbed.

Newly appointed Kingston Police Chief Maurice Splaine says a man entered the bank, handed a note to one of the bank tellers saying he wanted cash and had a gun, he then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount.

The robbery suspect is described as a white male in his late 20′s or early 30′s.

No weapon was ever shown and no one was hurt.

But the man has a distinct tattoo that’s helping police zero in on the suspect though Chief Splaine says they’re unsure what the tattoo represents, “Everybody that’s looked at it has thought it represented something different so it’s just a tattoo that’s on the hand. It’s kind of hard to describe.”

Because of the description of the robbery suspect, police believe that he may be the same white male who also robbed a bank in Plymouth last week.

The man who robbed the Plymouth bank is described as having a narrow face, long nose and goatee. He walked into the bank on State Road shortly after noon last Tuesday and gave a teller a note demanding money.

He fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No arrests have been made in either case.
