Cape Man Charged with Attempted Murder
An East Falmouth man faces charges of attempted murder and more after allegedly assaulting a woman in Manomet.
An East Falmouth man faces an attempted murder charge after he allegedly grabbed a 25-year-old woman by the throat on Sullivan Avenue in Manomet.
Joshua F. Marques, 31, 13 Lodengreen Drive, East Falmouth, faces charges of attempted murder, malicious destruction of property over $250, threatening to commit a crime, and two counts of domestic assault and battery after being arrested Monday morning at 12:15 a.m.
Marques also allegedly assaulted a 4-month old child who was caught between them, the Manomet Current reports.

He also reportedly threatened to kill the woman, and punched a refrigerator. Marques aparently had a relationship with the woman.
