Body Recovered From Curlew Pond

Unidentified male reportedly pulled from pond in Myles Standish State Forest over weekend.

Rescue personnel removed a body from a pond in the Myles Standish State Forest on Saturday.

Various media reports have noted that the remains of the unidentified male were removed from Curlew Pond on Saturday afternoon. A report on the WATD website noted that the body was found around 3 p.m., and that divers had initially responded to a report of an overturned canoe.

Elsewhere, a report on the CapeCodToday.com website cites one witness who apparently heard somebody screaming for help in the area.
