Support Michael “Doobie” Kurus for HOPKINS School Board

As a past member of the Hopkins School Board, I have worked with Michael “Doobie” Kurus on many occasions because of his countless hours of volunteering in our school district and community.  His knowledge of the issues facing our district and community prompted Hopkins School District leaders to enlist Doobie to serve on several crucial committees including the Superintendent’s Advisory committee, Strategic Planning Committees, and the Hopkins Legislative Action Coalition.  Doobie is the type of person who will take each new challenge seriously by always considering the best interests of our students and community.

Doobie and his family have been longtime residents of the area and he has led many volunteer activities covering a wide range of local community and school projects.  He has three children attending Hopkins schools and his perspective as an educator and parent with children in our schools is an essential viewpoint to have on the school board.

I am confident that Doobie will make an excellent school board member and work towards building a quality education system for all of our students and community.  Please join me in supporting Michael Doobie Kurus for the Hopkins School Board.
