Commercial Wind Turbine Warning Plymouth & Duxbury

Commercial Wind Turbine Warning Plymouth & Duxbury   Warning to people living around the turbines and those partner towns buying into future litigation   The Town of Plymouth Massachusetts is considering four massive 2 megawatt turbines larger than the turbines in Falmouth and Fairhaven..   The closest home is located 1340 feet from the project. There are 300 homes within 2500 feet of the project. Plymouth is taking the first step in years of mitigation over megawatt wind turbine noise. The wind industry has kept the dirty little secret of gear box failures and noise for years. The industry is now telling residents that the newer unproven larger direct drive wind turbines the size of a 777 Jumbo Jet don't make any noise. Please folks think about this a 70 ton machine that doesn't make noise and multiply that by four massive 2 megawatt turbines ?   The program director and facilitator of Falmouth Wind  1 & 2 from the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center has changed the setbacks of the commercial wind turbines to 2000 feet in May of 2013. Based on the catastrophic health and finance issues in Falmouth and Fairhaven the setbacks may be increased even more during 2014.     The Town of Duxbury is thinking about buying power from the Plymouth wind turbine project. Before you buy into the project think about the litigation from 300 residential homes around the proposed commercial "megawatt" turbines in Plymouth. When Falmouth and Fairhaven asked the state for help all they got was lip service. Massachusetts has a long history of failed renewable energy projects. The sad state of affairs is the taxpayers are left holding the bag while the wind turbine contractors take control of your town.   Senate President Therese Murray says she's opposed to wind turbines in residential neighborhoods, so what is she doing about the turbines in Falmouth? Nothing !

Senate President Therese Murray speaks of her support of wind energy, but says residential neighborhoods are no place for turbines.

Here is a quote from the Senate President : “It is my strong belief that industrial-size wind turbines do not belong in residential neighborhoods,” “Wind turbines have been a part of the renewable energy conversation in the commonwealth for some time now and I support wind energy….However, we must ensure that municipalities can move forward with turbine projects while preserving the health and well-being of residents. No one should be subject to unnecessary discomfort as a result of any turbine…”
Senate President Therese Murray (D) Democrat from Plymouth says wind turbines don't belong near residential homes. What the H E double L L is wrong with the representation of these towns ? Are you going to sacrifice more residential home owners and take the American Dream away from them ?
