13 Year Old Plymouth Native Launches Music Career

Emily is an 8th grader at Rising Tide Charter School. She was inspired by Taylor Swift to teach herself to play and write music. As her parent, I am clearly biased and am very proud. If you'd like to find out more, please visit:

Emily has had a great deal of support from Plymouth's amazing network of local musicians. She's also been encouraged  & supported by WATD and a number of Plymouth restaurants and local performance venues.

Emily has had a number of highlights already in her short career. She performed at Memorial Hall in front of 700+ with the James Montgomery Blues Band to support disabled adults. Over the Summer she opened for original members of the band Boston. In addition she was featured on WATD's popular show Almost Famous as well as the Fox Zip Trip to Plymouth.

She hopes to continue writing & performing music.
