Volunteers Remove Invasive Species at Plimoth Plantation

Tourism Cares volunteers removed invasive plants on Sept. 27.

While other volunteers were painting or constructing a palisade on Friday, Sept. 27, a group of Tourism Cares volunteers removed invasive species near the Eel River and other wooded areas around Plimoth Plantation.

The volunteers were in Plymouth as part of a two-day effort organized by Tourism Cares, a Canton-based nonprofit that brings tourism industry professionals together to preserve travel destinations.
