Students Across Cape Cod to exhibit ArtWorks at Heritage Museums & Gardens

Heritage Museums & Gardens,
celebrating its 45th anniversary this year, is partnering with The
Cape and Islands Workforce Investment Board to present the 2014 ArtWorks School
to Career Partnership program. Forty students from Cape and Islands high
schools, participate in an eight-week internship with area artists in
disciplines including painting, photography, illustration, pottery and graphic
design. The experience culminates in an exhibit of artwork created by students
and their mentors. The exhibit will travel from Heritage to the Cape Cod Museum
of Art, Wellfleet Preservation Hall and the State House in Boston. The exhibit
is free with museum admission.
