Sara Altherr Artist's Reception

This February, the Kingston Public Library Gallery will
feature the paintings of Sara Altherr. In this exhibit, ‘Our Times’,   Sara
has chosen to feature paintings that express her feelings about the subjects
that hold a special place in her heart.

Sara, a Kingston resident for many years, has taken art
classes at various adult education programs, and took two courses at art schools.
In the past 15 years, Sara has been mentored by artist Janet Ruggiero. Sara
meets regularly with a group of local women artists that she credits with
teaching her a lot about painting and art.

A reception for Sara will be held on Saturday, February
1st, from 2 pm to 4 pm in the children’s activities room. The reception is free
and open to all, and refreshments will be served. The exhibit will be on view
in the Library’s Gallery throughout February. The Library is open on Mondays
from 1 p.m. - 8 p.m.; Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. - 8 p.m.;
and Saturdays 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
