Plymouth Hometown Cleanup

Help keep Plymouth parks and natural areas clean and beautiful. Spend a few hours picking up trash on Saturday, November 2. Join other Plymouth residents to show some love to America’s hometown.

Does
your favorite hiking trail, park or pond need some extra attention? Recruit
your neighbors and lend a hand. To register your own group or to find one to
join, check the list at: http://networkofopenspacefriends.org/
or contact Patrick Farah at Town Hall. His phone number is: 508-747-1620, ext.
204, and his email address is: pfarah@townhall.plymouth.ma.us

If
you are ready to put together your own cleanup group, call or email Patrick with

3)    Meeting place and time on the day of the cleanup,

4)    Number of purple bags you would like,

5)    Where you will
leave the full purple bags for DPW pickup. (Purple bags will not be accepted at

The Town of Plymouth and the Plymouth Network of Open Space Friends are sponsoring the semiannual cleanup. The Town’s Department of Public Works (DPW) will provide purple trash bags and their pickup following the cleanup. Purple bags will not be accepted at the transfer stations. The rain date is Sunday, November 3rd.

This will be the eighth Hometown
Cleanup Day. The Network of Open Space Friends hopes it will be the biggest one
yet. Girl and Boy Scout troops, garden clubs, neighborhood associations, local
friends groups, school groups and businesses all pitch in for our hometown. How
about you?
