Pilgrim Festival Chorus Presents Messiah Sing in Plymouth

Pilgrim Festival Chorus (PFC), the
region’s principal community choral group, will host a Messiah Sing, a sing-through of Handel’s masterpiece, on Sunday,

December 22, at 3 pm at The Church of the Pilgrimage, 8 Town Square in Plymouth.  PFC’s Music Director, William B. Richter, will

conduct, accompanied by Elizabeth Chapman Reilly, organist.

Messiah Sings, popular in this area for at least 40 years, employ the audience as the chorus.  For choral music enthusiasts, a Messiah Sing is considered a necessary part of the holiday season each year. This Sing will consist of Part I (the Christmas portion) and the Hallelujah! Chorus, possibly the best known choral piece in the western world.

Instrumental accompaniment will be
supplied by the church’s impressive Woodbury-Roche pipe organ.  Soloists will be drawn from the PFC membership,
many of whom are professionally trained.
