LEED stands for Leadership in Energy and
Environmental Design and was developed by the U.S. Green Building Council
(USGBC) to set a benchmark for design, construction, and operation of
high-performance green buildings.
This course supplements individual preparation for anyone interested in passing the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) Green Associate Exam.
After an introduction to the exam format and computer based testing, your instructor will give an overview of how the LEED® rating system works. Next, the group will then examine the core concepts of green building as they relate
to each of the rating systems. Finally, your instructor will explain what you need to study after leaving this class to increase your chances of passing the exam. Sample questions and memorization worksheets will be presented and discussed throughout the course. The
attendee should have basic knowledge of building trades and construction. LEED GA exam cost is separate from this course.

Course Materials: Each student will receive an Everblue course
manual, study, LEED credit rating study sheets, quick-reference guide, and
access to 800 total online practice questions. Each student will also have
access to the on-demand LEED GA webinar at no charge. Upon completion of the
course, a certificate of completion which qualifies student to sit for the LEED
Green Associate exam will be available through their individual profiles. All
materials for this class will be shipped ahead of class or brought with the instructor.
