Behind the Scenes Greenhouse Tour

Go behind the scenes with
Director of Horticulture Les Lutz for a tour of Heritage’s new 30’ x 72’
plastic covered greenhouse.  Les will
share facts about the structure and why it was built and what it is used
for.  Participants will also learn how
the building is being used for to help save the Dexter and Cowles Rhododendron
collection from extinction and what we are planning to do with the collections
in the future. Learn about how many of the plants for the ‘Wicked Plants’
exhibit were started and grown right here in the greenhouse along with all of
the annuals used in the Gardens.   Advance registration is recommended as
space is limited.

Fee (includes museum
admission): $10 Members, $25 Non-Member adults, $17 Non-Member youth
