New WaterFire Tavern Opens in Plymouth!

WaterFire Tavern Opens!  Features Craft Beer and Unique Chef’s Offerings in an Upscale Setting.

July 2, 2013 – Plymouth is now home to an exciting new dining and drinking establishment: The WaterFire Tavern, located inside the John Carver Inn & Spa, 25 Summer Street.

Conceived by Catania Hospitality Group President and CEO, William Catania, the WaterFire Tavern’s unique interior design sets the tone for an upscale, casual dining experience.

The focal point of the tavern is the circular granite bar constructed around the one-of-a-kind “WaterFire Fountain”.  A glass column contains the flickering flame that sits in the middle of a beautiful, copper-bowled water fountain. As the fire glows, the water flows. Transitional colored light emanates from the surrounding mixed-media wall hangings, creating a sophisticated ambiance. Tables for parties from 2 to 10 offer additional, intimate dining throughout the Tavern.

The creativity behind this new venture goes beyond the interior design. The menu features 18 carefully selected “Craft Beers” and delicious, contemporary cocktails such as the flaming “WaterFire Martini”. Chef’s offerings include fun appetizers and tapas to accompany the Tavern’s beverage selections. The signature “WaterFire Cheese Bowl” is a fondue-like presentation of warm smoked Gouda Cheese with Bourbon, complete with crostinis and vegetables for dipping. The “WaterFire Chocolate Bowl” is perfect for dessert. A variety of Tapas sliders, grilled pizzas and seafood, chicken and beef entrées complete the WaterFire menu. Live music will be featured every Friday and Saturday night from 7pm to 10pm. The Tavern is also available for private parties and business gatherings.

The John Carver Inn & Spa is owned and operated by the Catania Hospitality Group, a three-generation family business now in its fortieth year. The group also owns the Dan’l Webster Inn & Spa in Sandwich, The Cape Codder Resort & Spa and the Grand Cru Wine Bar & Grill in Hyannis, six Hearth ’n Kettle Restaurants and three Beach Plum Spas.      #END#
