Learn How Sodium Affects Your Blood Pressure at Kingston Council on Aging, November 20

Old Colony Elder Services, (OCES) the Brockton based non-profit regional agency serving older adults and individuals with disabilities is holding a free workshop “Sodium and the Effects On Your Blood Pressure” at the Kingston Council on Aging, 30 Evergreen Street, Kingston, on Wednesday, November 20th  from 10:30am to 11:15am. 

 “Sodium and the Effects on Your Blood Pressure” workshop will cover the following topics:

·  what is considered high    blood pressure, who is      at risk

·  strokes and high blood      pressure

.  sodium’s effects on            bones

·  sodium in processed          foods and tips for a            healthier, low sodium        diet

“Sodium and the Effects on Your Blood Pressure” and all of the workshops offered through our Wellness Program are part of our mission to provide essential information to the public promoting healthy and safe living,” said Diana DiGiorgi, Executive Director of OCES.
