Scott Clifford, partner at Epstein, Lipsey & Clifford, P.C. (www.elclaw.com), a full-service law firm that provides services in the fields of real estate, social security, workers’ compensation, and personal injury, was a guest earlier this month on “Radio Entrepreneurs,” where he talked about the focus of the practice, with emphasis on real estate law, as well as the firm’s commitment to the Ellie Fund.
Radio Entrepreneurs interviews can be heard nightly from 6 to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday, on WBNW 1120 AM, WPLM 1390 AM, and WESO 970 AM. Radio Entrepreneurs shares the stories of entrepreneurs in the interest of giving more exposure to innovative and fast moving companies while creating a knowledge pool for the enrichment of the entrepreneurial community around the world. The show is broadcast daily and the characters in the interviews are entrepreneurs from various backgrounds, all supported by the Money Matters radio staff, social media, the Mage team, and the show’s host, Jeffrey Davis. The conversation is their story: the story of who they are and how they became an entrepreneur. To learn more about Radio Entrepreneurs, please visit www.radioentrepreneurs.com. Studios are at 144 Gould Street, Needham, MA.
Clifford spoke with host Jeffrey Davis about the various areas of focus for the firm, including real estate law, corporate law, Social Security disability, veteran law and education law. With regard to real estate law, Clifford noted that while there is still a need for attorney involvement in real estate deals, the reasons behind the involvement have changed. “First with the real estate bubble, it was hard to get deals done, and there was a spike in litigation,” said Clifford. “Now that the real estate market appears to be recovering, bidding wars have returned, resulting in an ever greater need to have legal representation.”
In addition, Clifford discussed his firm’s involvement with the Ellie Fund, a philanthropy that tries to ease the effects that breast cancer has on a family by providing child care, transportation, meals, and other everyday necessities. The firm’s commitment to the Ellie Fund, represented in the “Real Men Wear Pink” team, has raised tens of thousands of dollars over the last few years, through participation in the Sharon triathlon and the now annual “Real Golfers Wear Pink” fundraiser.
He continued, “It was a great opportunity to be on Radio Entrepreneurs, and I thank the team for giving us the chance to come on the show and tell our story.”
