Plymouth CEO Wins Entrepreneur of the Year Award

Donna Roth, the founder and CEO of Cool Gear International, was awarded for her innovation and personal commitment to the business by being named  Entrepreneur of the Year of New England by international financial services firm Ernst & Young.

The award recognizes outstanding high-growth entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellence and extraordinary success in such areas as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities. The finalists and winners were selected by an independent panel of judges and honored at a gala event at the Renaissance Waterfront in late June.

“This honor is not only for me but also for my entire company,” Roth said in a statement. “It’s a tribute to the effort and contributions of the entire Cool Gear team.”

Roth is one of 10 New Englanders to be recognized with the award this year.
