Pilgrim Power Restored, Will be Online After Maintenance is Complete
Pilgrim Station lost power twice over the weekend during the Blizzard of '13, but the plant will return to service soon.
After a thorough evaluation, by Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station staff, off-site power was restored to the plant on Tuesday evening Feb. 12, according to a release from Entergy.
"While off-site electrical power was disrupted twice due to storm-related issues, the plant’s diesel generators reliably provided on-site electric power to plant equipment as designed. There was no impact to plant workers or the public. The plant will be returned to service following the completion of maintenance and comprehensive surveillance activities."
