Kingston Movie Theater Announces Expansion

Independence Mall Announces Construction of Regal Stadium 14 Theater Complex.

Independence Mall and Regal Entertainment Group are excited to announce that construction on an all-new 58,000 sq ft, 14-screen stadium seating theater complex will begin this September.  Construction of the new theater will be phased to allow for the theater to remain open with an estimated completion time frame of 8 months.

The new complex will house fourteen expanded theaters equipped with stadium seating, state-of-the-art digital projection, Real D 3D, and Regal’s new big screen concept, RPX: Regal Premium Experience.  This concept is a custom-built premium environment featuring a giant immersive screen illuminated by high-quality digital projectors and completed with a state-of-the-art sound system.  The nearest comparable screen is 40 miles away in Boston.

Every theater will offer an outstanding cinema experience where each movie-goer will enjoy a crystal-clear picture, along with plush, comfortable, high backed recliner seats with retractable cup holders creating seating for two, a new expanded lobby and a computerized box office to make ticketing quick and simple.
