The British Beer Company is hosting the 3rd annual fundraising motorcycle run the Blue Wheels of Valor in partnership with Norfolk Deputy Sheriff Tim Cahill, an ambassador for National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund

This year’s ride will be held to honor slain Officer Sean Collier of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Police Department. We will also celebrate the recovery of Transit Police Officer Richard Donohue who suffered life threatening gunshot wounds.  This event will also recognize the heroism and professionalism of the hundreds of first responders who came from local, county, state, regional, and federal law enforcement agencies to protect not only our community but our great nation following the Boston Marathon bombings.

An amazing Boston Strong ride route we will pass Fenway Park both in and out of the city but not before we show our respect to all the Boston Marathon Bombing victims crossing the Marathon finish line with hundreds of motorcycles. As we progress, we will honor the M.I.T. Police force as we ride through the campus Officer Collier Protected and pass the M.I.T Police Station then off to our final destination at the British Beer Company, Walpole, Massachusetts, our main sponsor.

Last year the run garnered $11,500 and over 300 bikes participated, this year we expect the event to add several hundred riders and participants. All proceeds are donated directly to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund.

The registration ticket includes an outdoor party with a pig roast buffet and live music, and this year’s route provides great opportunities for spectators and supporters to cheer   the riders on along the route.

The cost to register is $20.00 for a rider and $10.00 for a passenger or $15.00 for pedestrians to join the party and can be done at the Walpole pub or the day of the event.

The British Beer Company has partnered with Harpoon to offer a special Harpoon beer to be sold for $6.00 along with a Harpoon Honey Cider can for $ 4.00 with 100% of the proceeds going back to Blue Wheels of Valor!
