Plymouth South Thinks Pink

Plymouth South students and teachers wore pink last week to support breast cancer research.

A number of staff and students at Plymouth South wore pink Wednesday in support of breast cancer research as part of Lee Denim Day. They were treated to coffee, bagels, apple crisp and cookies in the afternoon. A drawing raised $500 to support the cause. Among the prizes were PSHS clothing and gift certificates to the culinary arts department.

Lee National Denim Day is a fundraiser created by Lee Jeans to support the American Cancer Society’s breast cancer programs. Since its inception in 1996, Lee National Denim Day participants have raised more than $86 million for the fight against breast cancer.
