Cell Phone

Do you have a cell phone?

If not you are out of style.

How do you get up each morning

Without talking or texting for a while.

Cell phones are common

You see them everywhere.

You can even hear them in church,

 If you still go there.

People have them on their ear,

Or carry them in their hand.

If something doesn't happen soon,

They will surely ruin our land.

But they are an inconvenience

They can interrupt you anywhere.

You can turn the ringer off,

And they can vibrate you there.

Do not think I am old fashioned,

I have a cell phone too.  

But if you want to communicate with me,

Do not text, but I will talk to you.
