The Plymouth Career Center is hosting a community resource expo Wednesday, July 24. Meet with training vendors and community organizations to lean about courses, food pantries, fuel assistance, GED programs, and job search assistance

Meet author and dating expert Jaimy Blazynski, socialize and meet other singles at a free wine tasting and author event at The Book Shack at the Independence Mall Friday, July 26.

Jaimy Blazynski, Date Doctor from Got 5 Minutes, radio and TV personality and author of Crush will share how she completely reinvented herself after her divorce and changed her life. Throughout her book talk she will be offering entertaining but valuable advice on how to have fun being single and how to find true love. After her talk she will take live questions from the audience and 
deliver her brutally honest advice in a way that will change how you date forever.
Enjoy a "blind book" of your choice to purchase for $3. Under that brown paper is a book on either dating, romance or surviving a divorce. You will not know until after you have taken the  risk. 

Swimming Lessons at Camp Clark

Camp Clark is offering after-camp swim lessons for the general public.  Lessons are available for ages 6 months up, including private lessons.  Classes will run in two week sessions, with session 3 running from 7/29-8/9, and session 4 from 8/12-8/23.  The cost is $50 for 30 min lessons, and $57 for 45 min lessons.

History Half-Hour at the 1749 Courthouse

The public is invited to attend a summer series of mini-lectures on local history at the 1749 Court House in Town Square. Each “history half hour” features a topic related to Plymouth history. Lectures are held from 7 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesdays through Aug. 20, and are free and open to the public; no reservations required. July 23, Denise Lebica, historical clothing and textiles manager at Plimoth Plantation, presents “Wearing History,” a talk on her work in recreating authentic colonial clothing for the renowned living history museum.
