Two Free Parking Lots Open on Water Street

Two new public parking lots have opened in the Waterfront area to help address the overflow at Nelson Park.

Two new public parking lots have opened in the Waterfront area to help address the overflow at Nelson Park.

Park Plymouth and the Plymouth Growth & Development Corporation have leased two additional lots: and both lots are free.

“We hope that, by making these lots available to the public, visiting Nelson Park will be a happier experience for everyone,” Plymouth Growth & Development Corporation President Leighton Price said.

Both lots are at the northern end of Water Street near the park. Together they add approximately 80 un-metered parking spaces to the 49 spaces at Nelson Park.

A row of parking spaces in the northern lot located closest to the park is reserved for Plymouth residents only.  Additional spaces in this lot may be reserved for Plymouth residents if warranted by demand.
