The National Weather Service has issued a high wind warning, meaning that damaging and dangerous winds between 35 and 45 miles per hour with gusts up to 75 mph can occur. These strong winds mean a "significant threat to life and property exists. Damaging winds will result in widespread power outagaes that could last for days...damage to structures and homes...and downed trees and power lines. Debris and downed trees could, in some cases, block roadways."
