Plymouth Residents Take Part in Jimmy Fund Golf Classic

The Jimmy Fund Golf Classic raised more than $6.4 Million for cancer research.

Jay McGillicuddy and Peter Currier of Hampstead, N.H.; Stu Ravech of Newton, Mass.; and Dan Bonelli of Plymouth, Mass. attended the 30th annual Jimmy Fund Classic at The International Golf Club in Bolton, Mass., on Oct. 1, to celebrate another season of raising funds on the greens for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. The Jimmy Fund Classic is an annual event that recognizes tournament organizers and sponsors who helped raise more than $6.4 million in 2012.  Jimmy Fund Golf is one of the largest and oldest grassroots charity golf programs in the nation and since 1983 the organization has raised more than $91 million for life-saving cancer research and treatment.
