Plymouth Moose Host Sandy Hook Benefit Thursday

The Plymouth Moose Lodge is hosting a benefit for the Sandy Hook Relief Fund Jan. 31.

The Plymouth Moose Lodge is hosting a benefit for The Sandy Hook Relief Fund featuring several local bands, raffles and more.

The Jan. 31 benefit will include music by The Katie Stodder Band, The Extension, The Plaid, The Great Ak, and TooBoKou. There will also be a 50/50 raffle, and raffle prizes.

Food will be provided, and there will be a cash bar.

Advance tickets are on sale at the lodge very soon, but it is not necessary to have one. Anyone who cannot attend, but would like to make a cash donation, can send a check to:

Sandy Hook Relief Benefit c/o Jim McDonough, 601 State Road, Plymouth, MA 02360

All checks should be made out to the Plymouth Moose Lodge, and a single stream donation to The United Way's Sandy Hook Relief Fund in the amount of 100% of the proceeds after the event.

Organizer Jim McDonough says the lodge is still looking for donations for the prize raffle. Gift cards/certificates or any new/unused/unopened items would be greatly appreciated. The Moose is a certified 501(c)8 charitable organization, and anyone making a donation and needs that tax information can feel free to contact McDonough at mcdonoughjrj@yahoo.com Facebook: Jim McDonough, or on Twitter: @McDonough81

McDonough has set up a Facebook event page for the benefit.
