There will be dense fog on Monday morning that could reduce visibility for drivers, warns the National Weather Service.
The dense fog advisory runs through 10 a.m. on Monday. It was issued at 4 a.m.
The fog could reduce visibility to a quarter mile or less, the weather service said. The advisory covers Plymouth and most areas of eastern Massachusetts.
The fog is expected to last through mid to late morning and be clear by noon.
“Motorists are advised to slow down as objects on roadways will be seen only at close range,” the weather service said in its advisory. “In addition, motorists should allow extra time for the morning rush hour.”
