Boston Militatry Luncheon to Benefit Nathan Hale Foundation

Heidrea For Heroes, Inc., is providing this event to support The Nathan Hale Foundation and its Veterans Outreach Centers.

Heidrea For Heroes is proud to sponsor a Military Benefit Luncheon Jan. 27, 2013 at the Seaport Hotel in Boston from noon to 4 p.m. Heidrea For Heroes, Inc., a non-profit 501(c)(3) public charity, is providing this event to support The Nathan Hale Foundation and its Veterans Outreach Centers.

The event is hosted by Billy Costa, host of NECN’s TV Diner and the Co-Host of KISS 108’s Matty in the Morning radio show. Billy will be auctioning off a chance to be the “Diner For The Day” and/or the chance to “Cook With Costa” – both of these events are featured on NECN TV. There will also be a silent auction with items donated by local companies. The Mark Greel Band will be providing the music for the event.

Guest speakers include Secretary Coleman Nee of the Massachusetts Department of Veterans Services, Anthony O’Brien Sr, Lieutenant Commander, US Navy SEALs (retired), and Kenneth Rendell, founder of the World War II museum in Natick and author of book Forging History.

The Nathan Hale Veterans Outreach Centers provide free services to veterans and their families in ten towns on the South Shore.  Free services include; transportation to medical appointments, arts/wellness classes, PTSD counseling, readjustment counseling as well as food pantries in their Plymouth and Middleboro centers.  Nathan Hale’s present goal is to expand services to build a Nathan Hale Veterans Wellness Center that will offer more health oriented opportunities for veterans and their families.  The outreach center has provided over 20,000 units of service in Plymouth County since it was founded in 2003.
