New Officers Elected at the Plymouth Moose Lodge
New officer elections were recently held at the Plymouth Moose Lodge, 601 State Road, in Plymouth. The men and women officers for the Lodge and Chapter were installed into their roles on Thursday, April 17, and their terms of office will begin on May 1.
The following Plymouth men were elected to one year offices: Governor, Ralph "Woody" Whitman; Junior Governor, Fred Miller; Prelate, Joe DeCoste; Treasurer, John Fay; 3-Year Trustee, Mike Donnelly, 2-Year Trustee, Joe Souter; 1-Year Trustee, Steve Wilson; Junior Past Governor, Victor Garrard.
The following Plymouth women were elected to one year offices: Junior Regent, Cheryl Frost; Chaplain, Judy Frost; Secretary/Treasurer, Stacey Carroll; Recorder, Francine Diamond; Junior Graduate Regent, Bernadette McDonnell.
For the women, the installation officers were Judy Hendy and Liz Hodgkins from the Yarmouth Chapter of the Women of the Moose; for the men, the installation officers were Ray Tompkins and Steve Wall from the Plymouth Moose Lodge. After the joint installation ceremonies, a celebration dinner was enjoyed by all in attendance. The Loyal Order of Moose is a fraternal and service organization of men and women dedicated to caring for the young and old, bringing communities closer together and celebrating life. The Plymouth Moose Lodge #2485, founded in 1997, has over 600 members, and the Women of the Moose Plymouth Chapter #2218 has over 300 members.
