Mayflower Congregational Church to host Crafts Fair
Saturday November 2 in Kingston; crafters wanted
KINGSTON, MA, ISSUED October 4, 2013…The Mayflower Congregational Church will host a Crafts Fair Saturday, November 2, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Briggs Building at 207 Main Street.
The public is invited to come and join in for a fun day of shopping, treasure-hunting and dining.
The event is being sponsored by the Mayflower Women's Club. Crafters will offer a wide variety of beautiful wares. Crafts being displayed include crocheted items, jewelry, American doll clothes and accessories, handmade soap, bath and beauty products (including handmade soap for dogs), bags and pillows, ornaments and photographs.
Additionally, there will be a silent auction. Fairgoers will have the opportunity to bid on a variety of items.
Lunch is available, including hot dogs, chili, corn chowder, chips and beverages, as well as desserts. There is a baked goods table available.
The public is invited to attend to see the work of crafters from throughout the region, and purchase any items of interest. There are still some openings for anyone who wishes to display their crafts, and interested parties should contact Jo-Ann Gabriel at 508-747-8967 for details.
There is no admission charge to attend the fair. Proceeds from the fair benefit local, state and global charities, as well as the church.
