Frank Runyeon to perform “Signs” at Christ Church Parish in Plymouth

Hollywood actor Frank Runyeon will present his one-man play “Signs: The Gospel of John” at Christ Church in Plymouth in two performances on Saturday and Sunday, March 15 and 16. He will star as Jesus in this interpretation of the Sermon on the Mount at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday and again at 10 a.m. on Sunday.

Runyeon wrote and staged “Signs: The Gospel of John” in an effort to help others better understand and appreciate the New Testament. This part of the Bible includes the Sermon on the Mount, Lord’s Prayer and the Golden Rule. This award-winning actor retells the story with surprising humor and powerful drama.

Runyeon is best known from his many years on television. He starred opposite Meg Ryan on “As the World Turns,” won two Emmys as a cast member of “Santa Barbara,” and guest-starred on “Falcon Crest,” “Another World,” “Melrose Place” and “LA Law.”
